Due to the fact that we are trying to make our video energetic, funny and attention grabbing, we decide to do the production in a hectic enviroment such as a club or a house party but this is similar to the original video so therefor, we picked a  more realistic and easily accessable mise en scene. In our pitch, we outlined to film the artist in the bathroom, kitchen, his room various other places to make it as effective as possible.

Also, we thought it would be a good idea to do some of the production around the college facilities. this has its advantages because it is easily accessable for us, it will give it more professional and natural look and we could get more people to participate in it.

For the bathroom scene, we need to find a  big bathroom were there is enough space for us to make the shots. furthermore, we need a rough and slightly messy bathroom because they are suppose to be students, living alone, getting ready for a night out. our aim is to portray realism as much as possible so its easier for the audience to relate to.

The elderly people home and the kitchen scene willbe the scenes we want to portray humour. we decided to involve a few friends, eating and drinking the kitchen and have a few of them pass out eventually and as soon as the hear the song, they start dancing.

we plan to do some of the shooting in Guildford town center, get the public involved.

In the end, we chose these locations
One of the locations we will be using is the college grounds. For example, the classrooms for when we shoot the teachers. Corridors, outside the library for when we shoot the students, also the college hall for also shooting students. This will show realism and will fit perfectly with the characters as they will be 'in situ'. We will also try and use different colours for the backgrounds, to make them more interesting and eye catching.

We will also be using Stoke Park to create a different atmosphere. This is to give a natural background, such as a pond, trees, benches, grass area etc.

We will also be using various places in the town centre. In the street and actual locations, such as the castle and it's grounds.

One of the locations will be the train station- as it will add humor to our video due to the fact it isn't generic to be dancing at a train station.

Having locations in various different shops will again add humor, and also a sense of a completely different setting. The people in the shops will be wearing uniforms to identify them to the place.

We will also be using the  TV Studio at our college, this will give a professional vibe to the audience. This is also when the performing arts students will be performing.
